Here is what Barry had to say about the battery banks:

The battery bank is 8 X 6 volt deep cycle batteries in series and parallel to produce 24 V DC with 800 amp hours. Since we get 300+ days of sun, the system is working well. I produce about 3.5 Kwh per day varying from 4 to 38 Amps subject to the position of the sun.  The batteries are housed in a separate 24VDC ventilated bunker just outside the garage. I purchased your 2/0 welding cable for my batter bank connection and everything is working out great!  Thank you Wire And Cable Your Way!

We use your products in our EV charging stations – targeted at DIY / open-source market. The new product – EMW JuiceBox – a 15kW / 60A Open Source level 2 charging station – is the most powerful EV charging station available today. His company provides design and fabrication services for event productions in the entertainment industry.

Here’s a project we just did:
It’s a fire hose pump system – for paint.  They’re used at concerts – the audience wears all white and they spray fluorescent paint all over the crowd.  We used 8-5 SOOW for the main power feed, 10 AWG MTW for the on-board AC wiring, and 20 AWG 7/c Communication cable for the low voltage remote control. It all worked out great!

Flexible 1/0 Welding Wire For Antenna Reader Tracking Muskie Fish

Wire And Cable Your Way wants to send a big thanks and appreciation to our customer Kevin for all the great wildlife research work he is doing in Ohio.

Kevin sent in the above photo of his team working along a river dam rolling 1/0 Welding Cable down to the bank of the river.  The team uses our 1/0 Welding cable which functions as an antenna reader which helps track muskie fish traveling along the river.

The team is researching large muskie sport fish which can get up to 50 inches long.  The team is monitoring the fish and tracking how many they are losing along the dam.

As an antenna reader, the 1/0 Welding Cable sits along the bank of the river and sends signals once the fish cross the dam notifying the team how many of the fish are staying alive.
